 Reading holy scriptures, myths, fairy tales, stories etc. has to happen carefully slow, known as ‘close reading’. Otherwise we will fail to notice their wisdom enclosed. That would be a pity, since all characters do represent us. This holds also for images, pictures, deities, gurus: we are them. At least: as them.'Rules of interpretation' will unveil what we don’t see at first sight. In order to try out these rules, please enter 'the story of the little cucumberseed' as well as 'the little frog that wanted to fly', resp. 'million dollar baby', applying the rules to film.
 Sprookjes, mythen, verhalen, holy scriptures, vragen om zorgvuldig lezen. Anders blijft veel van hun wijsheid verborgen. Alle erin voorkomende karakters representeren aspecten van onszelf. Datzelfde geldt voor images, pictures, deities, gurus: wij zijn hen. Of tenminste: als hen. 'Interpretatieregels' kunnen ons daarbij van pas komen.
